The 99% Campaign was founded after the 2011 riots and aims to combat negative media stereotypes of young people, promoting their positive contributions instead. It is run by South London think tank IARS.
As part of the editorial team for the first annual 99% Campaign Magazine, I selected and edited the best articles of the year from the campaign blog for two sections: Voting and Politics and Wellbeing.
I also contributed original content for the Voting and Politics and Community sections of the magazine.
The magazine launch and IARS awards ceremony for inspirational young people took place upstairs at the Ritzy cinema on 7 August.
