Each year the the Observer New Review supplement names 50 ‘New Radicals’ who are making a difference through social enterprise, volunteering and campaigns.

For the 2016 edition, I spoke to Birmingham-based youth engagement business Beatfreeks (pictured on the cover), Abianda, a charity helping young women affected by gangs, disability access website Euan’s Guide, the End Youth Homelessness Cymru campaign, and Madlug, providing children in care with a more dignified alternative to carry their possessions in.
